This lighting problem may occur if you are usingthe wrong keyboard driver or it’s out of date . So you should check if there’s any updated version of your Corsair keyboard driver and upgrade to it to see if the backlight problem can be fixed.
You can update your drivers manually by going tothe Corsair website , downloading the driver installer for your keyboard and installing it step by step.

Fix 3: Update and configure the iCUE software
iCUE is a software that allows you to control the performance of Corsair’s devices. Updating the iCUE software may help you deal with bugs that relate to your backlight problem. Here is how:
If you haven’t installed it before, just go to theiCUE download page and follow the setup wizard to install the latest version of iCUE first.
- Open iCUE and click theSettings tab.
- In the device settings pane, select your keyboard and then click theUpdate button.
3. Wait for the installing process to complete.
- In the ICUE settings pane, uncheck the box next toEnable SDK .
(SDK stands for Software Development Kit. In iCUE, it allows some programs to control the lighting of devices. Therefore unchecking the Enable SDK option may also help to resolve your backlight not working issue.)
